Meet Lyudmyla — Inspiring Flute Educator & Performer from Kyiv

Lyudmyla is a senior flute instructor of the highest category and a passionate musician dedicated to nurturing young talent. She currently serves as a Senior Teacher at the Kyiv Music Lyceum, where she combines excellence in performance with a deep love for teaching.

A graduate of the R. M. Glière Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music, Lyudmyla specialized in flute performance (teacher, orchestral and ensemble artist). She later earned her Master’s degree in Musicology and Music Education from the National Academy of Culture and Arts Management.

During her academic journey, she authored and defended several research works, including:

  • The Development of Musical Abilities in the Process of Instrumental Performance
  • The Development of Vocal Culture in the Process of Musical Activity
  • The Creative Figure of Mykhailo Omelchenko in the Context of European Flute Art Development

Since beginning her teaching career in 2009, Lyudmyla has consistently pursued professional growth — attending advanced training programs, masterclasses, and pedagogical seminars by leading musicians. She also wrote a model curriculum for grades 1–4 in music lyceums: “Musical Instrument: Recorder.”

Lyudmyla regularly organizes and performs in thematic concerts, both as a soloist and as part of chamber ensembles. Her students have become laureates of numerous competitions and have continued their studies in prestigious conservatories and universities.

With her refined artistry and heartfelt dedication, Lyudmyla helps each student discover their unique sound and develop their musical gift for the glory of God
